- TEST on part 1 of Beowulf
- HW due Wed. 9/13/17: Review and add to your annotations for section 2 of Beowulf, lines 1062 - 1904). Be sure to increase your notes in the following areas:
- vocabulary
- summary / reaction notes
- literary devices and their effects
- questions / clarification points
- HW due Mon. 9/25/17: Watch and take careful notes on the video series, "Beowulf and the Anglo-Saxons".
- In 4B today we were talking about scholarships and the financial aid process. We will have this discussion in 1B on Wednesday, but here are some resources if you are getting started with your applications / letters of recommendation, etc.

- The Pell Grant is available to undergraduate students, working on their first bachelor's degree who have an EFC under approximately 5400. The maximum EFC (Estimated Family Contribution on FAFSA- Financial Aid) for 2017-2018 was $5,920. You can estimate your EFC by plugging in a few pieces of information on this FAFSA 4Caster.
